The Operation SOINNO Season 1 Symposium: Transitional Social Housing - was the first of its kind in Hong Kong to bring along cross-disciplinary professionals and various stakeholder of the society to deliberate on the issue of Transitional Social Housing. 86 professionals with diverse background and expertise were involved in the co-creation workshops held on 8th and 15th September 2018. 42 experts from various backgrounds, including academics, practising professionals, community workers and government officials were invited to give advice and suggestions to the co-creation teams on 15th September and 6th October 2018 respectively to further increase the robustness and implementability of the conceptual design schemes developed by the teams. About 200 participants attended the Symposium on 6th October which enabled DISI to collect valuable feedback and suggestions from key stakeholders on future implementation of the SOINNO Action Project.

The passion and devotion of all participants have helped proven that such co-creation format and process are effective in helping build cross-sector consensus and develop practical, innovative ideas to improving the quality of life and wellbeing of those in need.
